86% of Bold Care patients pay $0 out-of-pocket per appointment, but your specific cost depends on your insurance type:

  • UnitedHealthcare: Members with UnitedHealthcare typically pay $0 per appointment, meaning your visit is completely free.
  • For the Bold patients who do pay a copay, the average out of pocket cost per appointment is approximately $20.
  • For many insurance plans, Bold is fully covered with $0 copay. Other Bold members have supplemental coverage (insurance plans from two different places, most often through Medigap, an employer, or a spouse). Supplemental coverage varies from member to member but often covers any remaining copays. Your Care Coordinator can help you answer any questions that you have about your cost estimate per appointment.

Note on Deductibles: If you have a remaining deductible for the year, Bold Care services will apply toward that deductible before your full coverage or fixed copays begin.
